In the event, which is designed as an “acoustic performance”, the musician, sound designer and performance artist Ulrich Maiß a.k.a Cellectric reacts to the current exhibition of the Kunstverein with compositional and improvisational means. For this, he uses interactive electronics alongside acoustic and electric instruments. Everyday sounds and musical phrases interweave in an exchange with the space. Space and time open up anew. The performance _PFAFFENTEICH_ is inspired by the solo show “Recent Topographics”, which shows photographs by Rainer Zerback. In _PFAFFENTEICH_ the duo Ma.Ori (Paolo Eleodori – percussion and Ulrich Maiss – cello) performs to the video installation of the same name by Ulrich Maiß.
