Since the most famous painting in the Schwerin collection, the life-sized animal portrait of the rhinoceros Clara by Jean-Baptiste Oudry (1749), has not been accessible since the museum’s renovation, the workshop will create a new, collective version of Clara through a creative DIY patchwork process as part of the Potemkin Art Academy Schwerin. Children, teenagers, and adults are invited to participate in the workshop and contribute their own artistic interpretation.
